Six Appeal

The ponds have reached a mild six degrees (42 degrees fahrenheit). That’s still not exactly warm, but it has now lost that icy ability to drain all the warmth from your body.

Perhaps it’s now time to give up on the neoprene gloves and boots.

  1. When I was a student, I worked as a lifeguard in Montreal. During our training, we learned that water at this temperature is a deadly hypothermia hazard if you fall into it.

    As proven by the continued existence of this blog, the hazard is apparently reduced if you actually enter it voluntarily.

    Charlie, you are *insane*. Keep it up.
