This is a tributary of the River Vltava that flows under Karluv Most, the famous Charles Bridge in Prague.

Out here in the Bohemian countryside near the village of Branov it is rather muddy and shallow, but lovely and warm to swim in.

Unlike Prague there are no tourists, just Czechs paddling on the river or drinking beer at little stalls with benches in the meadows.
