I love the way that little oak sapling is imitating its parent’s autumnal show.

In my tiny house garden I have a number of saplings. A Californian sequoia, a Corsican oak, and a Scottish fir tree. All planted from seed out of curiosity and all have got to the size where they need a new home.

If no-one else comes forward, it looks like I may have to indulge in a spot of guerilla gardening on the Heath…
