One of the most beautifully located infinity pools in the world. It’s on a flat shelf of rock beneath an old quarry on the Dorset coast. You can walk here in 20 minutes from the wonderful Square and Compass Inn in Worth Matravers.

The pool was blasted out in the early 20th century to be used to teach local school kids how to swim. When we were there dozens of small people were learning how to rock climb.
